This Privacy Policy explains how PionaMood ("PionaMood", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use the PionaMood mobile app, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). PionaMood is operated by Erzhidian Technology Co., Ltd.

PionaMood is an AI emotional companionship, self-reflection, mood support, and light wellbeing tool. It is not a medical device, clinical service, therapy service, crisis service, or substitute for licensed medical or mental health care.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

1.1 Account and Login Information

  • User ID and authentication identifiers.
  • Email address, display name, avatar, and provider account ID, depending on what the login provider returns.
  • Session tokens and security metadata such as user agent and login-related technical information.

1.2 Profile, Reflection, and Generated Content

When you use PionaMood features, you may provide or generate:

  • Mood records, emotional check-ins, chat messages, journal-style inputs, unsent letters, gratitude entries, thought-reframe content, exercise feedback, and similar self-reflection content.
  • Optional profile details used for personalized reports, such as birth date, birth time, gender, city, profile label, and relationship/profile context.
  • AI-generated reports, summaries, recommendations, and chat history.
  • Feedback content, rating, optional contact information, and support messages.

Please do not submit emergency information, highly sensitive medical records, or content that you do not want processed by an AI service.

1.3 Device, App, and Usage Information

We may collect technical and usage information, including:

  • App version, build number, operating system version, device brand/model, locale, region code, timezone, platform, and whether the app is running on a physical device.
  • App-generated device ID or anonymous ID used for account continuity, entitlement checks, analytics, security, debugging, and service operation. We do not use hardware identifiers such as IMEI.
  • Push notification token if you enable notifications.
  • Usage events, feature interactions, crash data, diagnostics, and performance data.

1.4 Purchase and Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription or other digital entitlement, payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We and our subscription provider may receive non-payment-card information such as:

  • Product identifier, entitlement status, renewal status, purchase date, expiration date, transaction identifiers, and app user ID.
  • Store, country/region, currency, and subscription state needed to provide and restore paid features.

We do not receive or store your full credit card number or payment account credentials.

2. Device Permissions

The app requests permissions only when needed for a feature:

  • Photo Library / Storage: Used to save report cards or share images you choose to generate. We request save/write access for this purpose and do not read your photo library for unrelated purposes.
  • Notifications: Used only if you enable reminders, check-ins, subscription/service notices, or similar app notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
  • Speech and Audio Playback: Used for guided exercises and ambient sounds. We do not use the microphone for these features.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide account login, personalization, syncing, report generation, chat, history, and self-reflection features.
  • Operate AI responses and wellbeing tools such as breathing, mindfulness, grounding, journaling, gratitude, ambient sound, and thought reframing.
  • Maintain subscriptions, restore purchases, and control access to paid features.

  • Monitor reliability, debug errors, improve safety, prevent abuse, and protect the Service.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal content for third-party advertising.

You can also request deletion outside the app by emailing support@pionamood.com or visiting:

Account Deletion Request

When we process a deletion request, we delete or de-identify account identity information and delete or anonymize associated app data where technically feasible and legally permitted. Some records may be retained for a limited period when necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment/subscription records, dispute resolution, or backup integrity. We may not be able to delete records held independently by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or other third parties; you may need to manage those records through the relevant provider.

8. AI Processing and Sensitive Content

PionaMood may process your text inputs and profile context through AI systems to generate responses, reports, summaries, and exercise suggestions. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Do not rely on the Service for diagnosis, treatment, emergency response, or decisions that require professional judgment.

If you are in immediate danger, considering self-harm or suicide, may harm someone else, or are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

11. Your Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your information. You may also revoke permissions through your device settings, unsubscribe from optional notifications, delete in-app content where available, or contact us for assistance.
